Today’s Daily Love really resonates with me. Mastin Kipp, the founder of The Daily Love, tells us to be strong and steadfast. Sometimes, when we put our hearts out there, we open ourselves to criticism. There are naysayers and detractors who, for one reason or another, do not want us to or believe we can succeed. We each know at our deepest level if we are living the life of our dreams, fulfilling our purpose here on Earth. Never give away your precious power … your gift. Sometimes, these messages can help to ensure we are on track and cause us to look inward to be sure we are not acting out of baseless fear or any other negative emotion.
For most of my life, I thought I had to make a living doing what I did not love. I was encouraged to get a job which would support me financially. Money does not equal wellbeing. We can create disease in our bodies if we choose to ignore that still, small voice guiding us to follow our purpose. Following our hearts is just as important to healing disease as anything on your plate.
I always knew I was meant to be a leader. For most of my life, I did not choose a profession which followed my heart. I worked for people and corporations which I believe did not have the best interests of life on Earth at heart. I worked hard to assist their purpose, thereby helping to create negative effects to the beautiful lives, human and animal, which surround us.
Since a teenager, I’ve always felt deep love for our world. I was born in San Francisco, named for the patron saint of animals and the environment, Saint Francis. I’ve been told that, if you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life. Just imagine our world if each of us used our innate gifts in our work. Our world would shine. I’ve often wondered how conditions for all life on Earth would have been elevated had I spent my life focused on my heart work. This has been a very sobering thought for me. My best advice is to please love yourself enough to do now what you were born to do.
Have a beautiful, peaceful life no matter how long you envision it to be. Each moment is precious and must be spent loving and serving yourself and your world in order to experience peace and abundance.
