It’s not rocket science. When our oceans are diseased, so are our bodies. All life is connected. When we consume fish and other sea life, we contribute to the death of our seas and disease in our bodies on a physical and spiritual level.
I grew up in beautiful Monterey, California. There, the Monterey Bay Aquarium has a sobering display about shrimp. For every shrimp caught, 100 other forms of sea life die. When you eat shrimp, you are telling the shrimping industry, ‘I like what you’re doing, killing off all of our sea life. Give me more!’ It’s really that simple.
If you are diseased and are wondering why, look no further than our oceans for your answer. It is what’s on your plate and in your mind. Only you can change both. Please don’t point your finger to blame others, for the source is ourselves.
