Life … I respect it all. I was born in San Francisco and raised in Monterey, California. I have a beautiful daughter, Kristin. I live in Keyport, New Jersey with my three canine companions, Betty, Harley and Honey. I am vegan (and formerly vegetarian) for 25 years. I’ve been an administrator most of my life and, over the years, have volunteered to improve conditions for people, animals and our planet. My activism includes serving on the Keyport Board of Education for the past five years, Keyport Smart Growth Redevelopment, Shelter Reform Action Committee in NYC, New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG), Staten Island Citizens for Clean Air, Coordinator of the Say No To Ash committee in Staten Island, NY and Borough Coordinator of the 1990 Earth Day Committee of Staten Island, NY.
Volunteering with human, animal and environmental groups/causes has greatly enriched my life. Creating peace for all animals and humans is my life-long passion. By easing the suffering of sentient beings, we ease our own. Whole, plant-based diets can restore vibrancy to the earth and to all life. To this end, I dedicate the rest of my life.
